Tournament Format
All teams are guaranteed four matches (provided weather cooperative).
There will be ties and no overtime - except for the Semifinals and Championship match, which will be decided by the SCHSL regular season procedure of two five-minute overtime periods and then a penalty kick shootout, if not already determined.
The following points system will be followed (10 points maximum for each match):
Any forfeit will be recorded as 1-0, with 8 points going to the winner.
If, at the completion of group play, a tie in the standings exists in determining the group champion, the following criteria shall be used to determine the champion:
Awards will be presented to the Champion and Runner-Up teams, as well as the tourney MVP.
Tourney Rules
The tournament will be played Monday-Thursday, April 10-13, 2017.
Matches Monday-Wednesday will be 80 minutes with a rolling clock (two 40-minute halves) and include a seven minute halftime. Matches on Thursday (excluding the Semifinals & Championship) will be 70 minutes with a rolling clock (two 35-minute halves) and include a five minute halftime. The Semis/Finals will feature a regular match following SCHSL rules.
Matches which end in a tie will be recorded as such. No overtime, except for the Semifinals and Finals.
Final day (Thursday) matchups may be altered to avoid region or regular season matchups. Some Thursday matches may be altered to accommodate teams not on Spring Break or those that have religious commitments. This will be managed by the tourney committee.
All participating teams agree that their images (photos, live feed, etc.) will be used to promote the event via social media - Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc.
Most matches will be played at Brookland-Cayce High School -- BCHS Stadium (120x64); The Cage (115x56). Granby Education Center (1.8 miles from BCHS) will serve as the auxiliary facility, if needed.

- -1 point for an accumulated red card (two yellow cards)
